so I let the cars merge. This is a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan S, VIN VV1B7AX8KM03548, CA license 8HDA136 being driven by a jerk. This car was purchased from Volkswagen of Oakland in early 2019. You would think he wouldn't risk crashing his new car. This is on I-80 westbound towards the Bay Bridge at the University Ave on-ramp, on a weekday morning when the traffic is always heavy and slow. There is an 18 wheeler tractor trailer directly in front of me. At first, the jerk in the VW is far enough behind me to not be tailgating in slow traffic. But then the jerk saw two cars coming up the on-ramp. The jerk, because he's a jerk, decided he wasn't going to let those cars merge onto I-80, and got right on my bumper to block them. The first car is already even with me and the second car is next to my right rear bumper when the merge lane ended. So now these 2 cars MUST merge. The jerk wouldn't let them in. Now, if it was the jerk who was on the on-ramp and it was he who wanted to merge onto the freeway, he would want someone to let him in. But the jerk, because he's a jerk since birth, doesn't want to give someone else that same courtesy. So I slowed down to let the cars merge, which made the jerk slow down too. So the jerk didn't do any better; he had to slow down anyway. Well, that ticked him off. He charged my rear bumper, flashed his lights, charged my rear bumper a few more times, then passed me. So, I'm sending this video and his VIN to the insurance companies. Hopefully his insurance company will see it and "upgrade" his insurance to the more expensive "Jerk Driver Policy." Eventually he is going to crash his car doing this, and the insurance company will have to pay. It's better for the insurance company to make more money off of him before he costs the insurance company more money.
